• Aletheia will be spending the night learning about confession, forgiveness and the mending of our most important relationship: God. We will be meeting in the White House at 7:30 pm.
• Hosanna Fellowship Program: Recreation at 8pm at Savio.
• Leadership Retreat - Feb 10 (Sat) 9:30am to 4pm at the church led by Rev. Douglas Wiebe. We encouraged each elder, deacon, committee member of each department or fellowships, cell group leader, Sunday School teacher & other interested brother and sister to attend. Do take time to come, so that we would focus on our spiritual condition & relationship with the Lord as we lead and serve at the beginning of 2007. Please register with the elder of your department by next Sunday.
• The monthly fellowship luncheon will be held on Feb 11 after the Sunday School. Women’s Groups will do the setting up and clear-up of the lunch program.
• Community Tutoring service has begun! It is being held on the first and third Sundays of every month from now until the end of June. It is designed to offer free tutoring services (academic & music) to children from Grade 1 - 12. Spots might still available! Register now by calling church office during regular office hours. • Trail Mix Children’s Day Camp will be held from July 9-20 (not including Saturday and Sunday). All children from Grade 1-6 (as of September 2007) are invited to attend! More details will be released in February. For inquiries, please contact Gloria Wong (wong.glo@gmail.com).
• 2007 Church Directory - Please verify the draft copy on the table outside, and initial it after checking. (Today is the deadline). If you prefer not having your address shown on the directory, please indicate on the draft. Newcomers joined our church in the last year are encouraged to fill in the details on the table provided, so that your information can be included in the new directory.
• In your prayers, please remember Tammy Wong who will be going to China to teach a Bible course this Wednesday to Saturday, while Eliza Ngai & Kim Poon will be leaving next week for China & Panama for STM for 3 months & 11 days respectively.
• Our church member, brother David Chan’s mother passed away peacefully last week. David will go to Hong Kong for the funeral next month. May the Lord comfort him and his family.

Lari O’Haña is pleased to present Manuscript Bible Study. What is Manuscript Bible Study you ask? Well, it just so happens to be the most happening activity that all the children are doing today. How can you resist?

The Bible is about a community, written by a community, written to a community, and is best understood in a community. Manuscript Bible Study is a communal study technique in which every member of the community — that is Aletheia — will help each other dig deeper into the Word of God, straight from the source. So bring your Bibles and crayons and be prepared
to read, analyze and share your Spirit-given insights.

To facilitate this study, Lari O’Haña has trained and studied with the masters and will be your humble guides. Lari will shepherd Shelter; O’Haña will take Tripod. We will collectively be studying a brief passage taken from Matthew 13:44-46:

The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it.
