Announcements for January 21
Friday, January 19th, 2007- Aletheia Fellowship Program: Manuscript Bible Study Friday at 8pm at Church Office.
- Hosanna Fellowship will be going on a sandwich run this Saturday (Jan. 27) from 2-4pm at the downtown area. The day will begin with sandwich packing at church at 10am (for those that can come) followed by gathering at Scarborough Town Center (bridge between TTC station and the mall) at 12pm. Participants can be picked up by parents at 6pm at Scarborough Town Center. Wavier forms can be downloaded here. For more questions, please contact Joshua Lau.
- Junior Choir practice will be held today at 12:15pm at choir room.
- English Ministry Committee will be meeting this Saturday (Jan. 27) from 9-11:30am. All EMC member are asked to attend.
- Leadership Retreat - Feb 10 (Sat) 9:30am to 4pm at the church led by Rev. Doug Wiebe . We encouraged each elder, deacon, committee member of each department or fellowships, cell group leader, Sunday School teacher & other interested brother and sister to attend. Do take time to come, so that we would focus on our spiritual condition & relationship with the Lord as we lead and serve at the beginning of 2007. Please register with the elder of your department.
- Treasury Dept. requests that those who have paid for church expenses, please fill in a Cheque Requisition >From (including the back page to check off the corresponding budget item), so as to speed up the bookkeeping of our Treasury Dept.; or else the reimbursement might be delayed. (Cheque Requisition Form can be picked up from the mail slot downstairs.)
- 2007 Church Directory - Please verify the draft copy on the table outside, and initial it after checking within these 3 weeks. If you prefer not having your address shown on the directory, please indicate on the draft. Newcomers joined our church in the last year are encouraged to fill in the details on the table provided, so that your information can be included in the new directory.
