- Hosanna Fellowship Program : Grad Night @ 7:30pm @ church. Semi-Formal attire is requested. Today is the last day for registration and $2/person. Please RSVP and pay to Vivian Ng at (ng_vivian@hotmail.com).
- CCSA Softball is having their annual semi-formal banquet on August 29th, 2007 at the Hilton Suites Hotel. Reservations can be placed at the front lobby after the service. Tickets cost $32, please pay by cash only. For more information, please speak to Rex Chan. Please come out and join us!
- Our church member, David & Marian Ma will be sent by our Canadian Alliance National office & our Chinese Alliance Churches Association to Lima, Peru as the “Last Mile” missionaries in mid-September. Our church will hold a Commissioning Service for them on Sept 8 (Sat )3pm, with Rev. Francis Tam, Executive Secretary of CCACA, preaching. Do take time to come.
- The monthly fellowship luncheon will be held on September 9 after the 19th Church Anniversary Joint service. Hosanna & Aletheia Fellowship & Mosaic Groups will do the setting up and clear-up of the lunch program.
- Rev. & Mrs. Yung’s farewell party will be held on September 9 from 6-9pm at Deluxe Chinese Cuisine (Warden / Hwy 7). Please contact Raymond Yu for more details.
- Tribe of Issachar 2007 Conference, “Out of the Water”, will be held on September 21 & 22 at Toronto Chinese Methodist Church. Registration forms are available on the west foyer table. For more information, please visit: www.tribeofissachar.org.
- Project Contempo 07 Forum, “Smart Work: Applying Biblical Wisdom to the Contemporary Workplace”, will be held on Saturday September 29 from 1 - 5pm at North Toronto Chinese Baptist Church. Come hear what Dr. Glenn Smith, Executive Director of Christian Direction in Montreal, has to say on applying Proverbs to the contemporary workplace. The cost is $15 / person, please register online at www.projectcontempo.ca.
- The September Sunday School class list is now posted on the Church Office bulletin board. Please check your class location. If you have not yet sign-up, let Sophia or David know September 2.
- Before Pastor Yung is resigning at the end of September, he’ll be taking some vacation during that month. So after September 2, he’ll be working in September 8 & 9(Sat & Sun). Please remember him & Mrs. Yung in your prayers, as they’ll be taking some months off for rest before to be led by God to another post of ministry.
- In last 2 week’s Membership Meeting, we have elected brothers Louis Tam & Raymond Yu as members of the Elders’ Nominating Committee. Together with elders Jody Chu, Wilman Lau & Daniel Siu, they shall attempt to nominate nominees for the 2008 church elders in the next 3 months. Please pray for them.

- Aletheia Fellowship Program : In continuation with Vertical Connection Night, Aletheia will be working on our connections with each other this Friday in Horizontal Connection Night. We hope to see you there.
- Hosanna Fellowship Program : Pickering Playing Fields from 7:30 - 9:30pm (please have waiver forms returned to Elaine Lau by today, forms can be downloaded at www.tjcac.org/english/hosanna)
- Hosanna leaders will be camping at Emily Provincial Park from Monday to Wednesday. In case of emergency, please call Pastor Arthur’s cell phone.
- .COM will be playing their final game today at 2pm at Goldhawk Park (McCowan and Alton Towers). Come cheer for them!
- Collision has made it to the playoffs! They will be playing on August 25th at a TBA location. Please come out to watch and cheer for our team! If you are interested please contact Rex Chan through email xiao_fung@hotmail.com and he will give out the playoff times and location after tuesday 21st. Hope to See You There!

- Church Membership Meeting will be today at 12:15pm, right after Chinese service/English Sunday School. We will elect 2 church members together with 3 elders ( Jody Chu, Wilman Lau & Daniel Siu) to form the Elders Nominating Committee. All church members are required to attend.
