• Hosanna Fellowship program : Appreciation Night! (a.k.a. GRADE 11 GRAD :D) @ 8PM @ Fellowship Hall. Please dress NICELY and bring $2! Please RSVP Tristan Poon and/or Jessica Chin ASAP!
• Aletheia’s program : another school year is fast approaching… the least we can do is party it up before it gets here. it’s Year-End Celebration this week at Aletheia: join us for a time of sharing and games! you’re more than welcome to bring snacks. Friday, usual time, usual place.
• Mosaic will be having a HK-style BBQ at the church on Friday September 5. All age 22+ are welcome! Please register with Melissa Kwan (mosaic@tjcac.org) as soon as possible. The cost is $5 each.
• A new Sunday School term will be starting in September. Please sign up your class preferences on the bulletin insert and hand the sheet to your Sunday School teacher or Sophia Kwan TODAY. If you have any questions regarding class content, please contact Holly Chau.
• Junior Choir registration forms are now available outside on the East foyer. Those interested in rejoining or joining must complete the form. Members must be between the age of 6-14 years. If you have any questions, please contact Dorinda Mui at dorrrie@gmail.com.
• Jaffray’s 20th anniversary dinner will be held at Dragon Dynasty Chinese Cuisine (2301 Brimley Rd., Scarborough) on Sunday Sept. 14. Come celebrate with us! Prices: $35 for Adults (Grade 7 by Sept and above), $25 for Children Grade 2-6 by Sept. and free for grade 1 and under by Sept. Each table seats 10 people. You are invited to put your own tables together. The planning committee will also help with the table arrangements. Registration for the banquet is now on-going. Deadline for tickets is Sept 7. Menus are posted on the bulletin boards outside the sanctuary. For more details, please speak to elder Alex Cheng.
• In last week’s Membership Meeting, we have elected brothers Victor Chin & Wilman Lau as members of the Elders’ Nominating Committee. Together with the two Elder Board representatives, being Alex Cheng and Judy Ip, and the Acting Elder Board Chair, Alfred Mo, to form the 2009 Elders Nominating Committee. Please pray for them.
• Currently we are in the process of collecting old photos regarding TJCAC the past 20 years, the following years are missing and we urgently needs brothers/sisters help if they are provide from their home album. 1997 to 1999, 2001 to 2005. We want group photos on Christmas, Easter, special events for those aforementioned years. Please pass them onto Stanley Pak (Stanley.Pak@unisen.ca).
• The main sanctuary, fellowship hall, and hallways are being repainted in the coming days. We apologize for the inconvenience.
• We would like to sincerely thank our summer students, Gabriel Ng and Kim Pak for their wonderful ministry this summer!

This Friday we’re going to Pickering Playing Fields!   So… bring your friends, your wavier form, your money, (if you haven’t already handed them in) and yourself!

Location: At Pickering Playing Fields - 1610 Bayly Street, Pickering, south of 401, 1 block West of Brock Road on Bayly Street

PLEASE bring your wavier form on FRIDAY and MONEY!  They have mini golf, 1 volleyball court, and 1 batting cage

$5 will get you all of that!! =) It’s a good deal! ;D SO PLEASE COME OUT and bring friends!
