- Aletheia Fellowship Program: Mission’s Conference
- Hosanna Fellowship Program: Mission’s Conference. Stay tuned to www.tjcac.org/english/hosanna for updates on TIME and LOCATION.
- Junior Choir has a practice today from 12:15-1:15pm in the Choir Room. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Dorinda Mui (dorrrie - at - gmail.com).
- The monthly fellowship luncheon will be held next week right after the Sunday School. Women’s Group will do the setting up and clear up of the lunch program.
- Christmas Baptism classes will be held on Sundays from 12:30–2pm in the Board Room on November 2, 9, 23, and December 7. Interviews will be held on Friday December 12 (5-7:30pm) or Sunday December 14 (12:30-3pm). Those who are planning to get baptized please contact elder Judy Ng or Pastor Arthur.
- Our TJCAC Annual Mission Conference will be held on November 7-9 (Fri-Sun). The speaker is Rev. Jonathan Teo and our theme is “Lord, please send me”. Please plan to attend all sessions.
- The Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday Nov.16, 2008 at 12:15pm, for the election of the 2009 elders and approval of the 2009 fiscal budget. The three (3) nominees put forth by the Nominating Committee are Peter So, Sam Wong and Tammy Wong. All members are encouraged to attend. The proposed Agenda and Active Membership List have been posted on the Elders Board Bulletin Board. If there are additional nominations from the congregation, or additional suggested agenda items for the Elder Board’s consideration, please submit them to Alfred Mo in accordance with the JACA By-Laws on or before 9:00am, November 9, 2008. If there are questions regarding the membership list, please contact Alfred Mo. Please remember these meetings and the nominees in your prayers.
- The updated individual offering records (Jan - Sept 2008) are now posted in the East-side bulletin board upstairs. For any inquiries, please contact deaconess Karen Lung or elder Patrick So.
- 2008 September balance sheet is posted on the bulletin board, copies are also available for the members, they are located on the table of the east entrance.
OTHERS:
- Teens Conference 2009 is looking for Team Captains! If you like to serve the Lord by leading a group of crazy teenagers for 2 days, download registration forms at www.afc-ca.org/TC2009. There will be FIVE mandatory leadership development sessions: Nov 1 (AFC), Dec 6 (AFC), Jan 10 (TCMC), Feb 7 (TCMC, with coaches), Feb 14 (AFC, optional), and Feb 21 (TCMC). Looking forward to hearing from the captain hopefuls!
- Operation Christmas Child is an annual ministry of Samaritan’s Purse. They help distribute millions of Christmas gifts and Gospel tracts in shoe boxes to needy children around the word. Parents are asked to help your children to place gifts in a shoe box as instructed by the flyer, with $7 cheque for postage. Please bring the gift boxes back to the church office on or before Nov 16(Sun). Flyers & shoe boxes can be picked up outside the sanctuary. Please contact deacon Victor Chin for information.

- Aletheia Fellowship Program: It is Community Fun Night this Friday. WHAT OH WHAT WILL BE IN STORE? more details will follow in the email, so stay tuned and make sure you join us.. we can’t spell fun without u? also, a reminder: it is eat-out-after Friday!
- Hosanna Fellowship Program: Hallo Jesus…HMMMM…wondering what this is? Well all you have to do is come this FRIDAY to CHURCH at 8PM and then you’ll know :)
