Summer Job Postings

Jaffray has received grants to hire THREE Summer Students - Outreach Coordinator, Missions Coordinator, and Children’s Ministry Coordinator. Job postings are posted on the bulletin board across from the library in the west foyer and online. All resumes must be sent to the Church Office no later than May 31. For more information, please contact Pastors Arthur and Matthew.

FAMILY MATTERS

  1. Welcome to our English worship. If you are a visitor with us today or this is your first time at Jaffray Church, please take time to complete the new comers’ card and let us know about you.

  2. All baptized Christians are welcome to partake the Holy Communion.

  3. Aletheia Fellowship: Yo wat, it’s about time we take it outside — Aletheia is having an outdoor bbq in the church parking lot this Friday! bring your friends, your appetite, your favourite bottle of bubble juice? more details will come in email.

  4. Hosanna Fellowship: WHERE’S WALDO?! :O 8pm at CHURCH! Come look for him :)

  5. “A Taste of Spring”, our Victoria Day Rally will be held today from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be a special BBQ lunch, followed by live band, games booths, specialty food stalls and auctions (all proceeds will be for Trail Mix Children’s Camp). Please plan to come!

  6. A new Sunday School term will be starting in June! Please indicate your class choices on the insert and give the sheets to either Holly Chau or Sophia Kwan today after service. If you have any questions, please contact Holly Chau

  7. Longlac STM: Join our team for a 2 week, life changing mission trip in Longlac, ON. The dates are from July 11 to July 26th. Application forms available online or email Dan Trinh (interndan@gmail.com) If you have any questions please contact Dan. Deadline for applications is May 31st.

  8. TO ALL 30HR FAMINE PARTICIPANTS: You’re forms are DUE! Please get them into Terence Chan ASAP! Please include donation forms and put the in the envelope with the money. BE SURE TO PLACE THE RIGHT AMOUNT IN AND MAKE SURE IT CORRESPONDS THE THE AMOUNT OF MONEY YOU HAVE WRITTEN DOWN ON THE FORM. That is all.

  9. June 7th (1-3pm) Plan2 Protect Training: Youth and Children ministry. All youth & children’s ministry personnel are required to take this training. Includes: Light on the Hill (teen and child focus), Longlac mission, and those serving 17 years and under. Registration forms @ http://www.tjcac.org/english/children/events Registering by May 31st shows you really are planning!

  10. Trail Mix Children’s Day camp will be held from August 3-28 this year! Registration forms for campers and application forms for camp staff can be obtained outside the sanctuary and the office or online: www.tjcac.org/English/trailmix For more information, please contact Pastor Matthew or Kimberly Pak or trailmix@tjcac.org The deadline for Early Bird registration is June 1.

  13. Pastor Arthur is on vacation from April 27 to May 19. He will return to the office by Wednesday May 20.

  1. Alliance Joint Mission Conference, “All for Jesus, Jesus for All.” will be held on July 1-5 at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario. Part-time registration is now available. Tyndale Association of Spiritual Directors (TASD) presents the following events. “Larry Crabb Conference” from May 29-30; “Franciscan Spirituality in Spiritual Direction” by Wendy Passmore on September 19; and “Soul Art” by Cathy Nguen in late Fall 2009.
