FAMILY MATTERS

1. Welcome to our worship. If you are a visitor with us today or this is your first time at Jaffray Church, please take time to complete the new comers’ card and let us know about you.

2. Prayer meetings are held on Wednesdays from 8-9pm in the church office.

3. Hosanna Fellowship: BIBLE STUDY!!!!! Eat~ Eat the Word~ And grow stro-o-ong! Bring:you,your bible, your buddies to CHURCH@8PM

4. Aletheia Fellowship Aletheia Fellowship will be having small group this friday! Your small group leader will contact you during this week as to what you’ll be doing! Check your emails continuously!

5. There will be an orientation on Feb21 and Feb28 for the keyholders for 2010, in fellowship hall right after Chinese service(20 min). All existing and new keyholders will require to attend either one session, due to new key for the office and new security code. For existing keyholders, whom no longer require the use of the keys, please drop off the keys during one of these sessions or to Danny.

6. A new Sunday School term will be starting in March! Please fill in the bulletin insert and give the forms to either Holly Chau, Stephanie Yip, or Jonathan Mui today after service.

7. Offering receipts for 2009 can be picked up in the front of sanctuary after service. If you have any inquiry of the receipt, please contact elder Caleb Chau.

8. Do you have the gifts & talents for design? Our 2010 theme needs a new bulletin cover design (the one you see is a temporary design by Pastor Arthur). Submit your design(s) to Charmaine Wong before Sunday Feb 28. The winner will be announced on Sunday, March 7. The winner will also receive a prize!

1. Dr.Merry Lin: Parenting Seminar–February 25, 2010, 7:30-8:30pm @ Faith Bookstore (45 Milner Av.)Free seminar on various aspects of parenting with a focus on life-proofing your kids, at any age. Learn some practical parenting tips and ask clinical psychologist, Dr. Merry Lin, your tough questions”. No registration. Children’s movie to play during seminar time.

2. “Focus on Marriage” simulcast conference will be held on Sat. Feb. 27 from 9:30-4:30pm at Morningstar Christian Fellowship (Sheppard & Morningside). Tickets are $20 per couple. Please contact 416.281.4138 or info@morningstarfellowship.ca for more details.

2. All baptized Christians are welcome to partake the Holy Communion.

3. The 2010 English Ministry Committee are as follows: Arthur Wong (Pastor, Chair), Herman Mo (Elder, Vice Chair), Matthew Gunn (Pastor, Children & Youth Ministry), Kim Pak (Children Ministry), Gabriel Ng (Outreach), Kristen Tam (Missions), Holly Chau (Christian Education), Judy Ip (Caring), Sharon Mo (Finances), Herman Chan (General Management), and Charmaine Wong (Worship).

4. Last Sunday we collected $3,325 in special offering for Haiti Relief. May the Lord use this money for those who are in need.

5. Prayer meetings are held on Wednesdays from 8-9pm in the church office.

6. Hosanna Fellowship: Bora+Matt~ Sitting in the CHURCH @ 8PM~ T-A-L-K-I-N-G (about girl/guy stuff!!!) First comes you, then comes you friends, then comes FUN!!! :D

7. Aletheia Fellowship will be having REC this friday! Bring your A-game and good runners! Remember to invite your A-gaming friends too!

8. To celebrate Family Day, the first day of Chinese New Year, and Valentine’s Day, there will be a special program held on today from 11:45-12:15pm in the sanctuary. All are invited to come. There will be a light snack after the program. Come join us! Family Ministry would like to encourage brothers and sisters to invite other families to have meals together at their homes during this Family Day holiday, to enjoy the time together.

9. Due to the above celebration event, Fellowship Luncheon of this month will be cancelled.
