FAMILY MATTERS
1. Welcome to our worship. If you are a visitor with us today or this is your first time at Jaffray Church, please take time to complete the new comers’ card and let us know about you.
2. “Sweet Hour of Prayer” will be held every Tuesday from 8-9pm at the church office. Those who cannot make it to the office are asked to pray on their own. If you wish to subscribe to the list of prayer needs, please contact prayer@tjcac.org.
3. Light on a Hill will be taking place every Wednesday in July and August! Invite your friends, come out and help out! See you there :)
4. Holy Communion will be held next Sunday at 9:30am.
5. Hosanna Fellowship: Movie Night this Friday at Church @8pm.
6. Aletheia Fellowship Aletheia Fellowship will being sweating, running, jumping, punching, pushing, pulling…that’s right – plain old exercising. Come to the church office basement next Friday with RUNNING SHOES, towel, water bottle, and change of clothing. You will be dripping in sweats by the end of the night!!!
7. Aletheia’s new CORE group will begin leading the fellowship in July. The new CORE member are: Tristan Poon, Brian Ma, and Tiffany Chin. Gabriel Ng and Pastor Arthur will remain as Aletheia’s counsellors.
8. STM team to Winnipeg send off will be held today at the beginning of the Chinese worship service at 10:30am. The English congregation is invited to stay behind in the back of the sanctuary after the service is over and join in to pray for them. The team will be gathering at Terminal 1’s Air Canada domestic departure check-in area at 7:30am. Please come and send them off if you can!
9. Next week, Morning Star Voices Choir will be ministering to us with songs of praise! Come and join us!
10. 2010 Trailmix Music Day Camp, July 12 - 30 and Aug 9 - 27. Grades 1-9. Registrations are ready. Please go to www.tjcac.org/english/trailmix
11. If there are any who would like to make offerings for flower arrangement in one of Sunday Services in the 2nd half of 2010 as a way to express thanksgiving to God, please sign up the chart on the notice board at eastside of the sanctuary. Each offering for flowers cost $80.
Pastor Arthur will be getting married on Monday August 2 at North Toronto Chinese Baptist Church (88 Finch Ave. West, just west of Yonge) at 11 AM. Come and celebrate his marriage to Rosanne Wong! Pastor Arthur will be on vacation from July 26 – August 19. Please direct all English Ministry matters to the department deacons or elder Herman Mo.
