Plan to Protect Training

  • All persons working with children (age 11 and younger)
  • Prospective Ministry Personnel

WHAT IS PLAN TO PROTECT?

Everyone who teaches, helps or cares for children is required to follow the guidelines and procedures as defined in the policy and procedures manual, “A Plan to Protect”, which Toronto Jaffray CAC Board has reviewed and adopted as official policy.

This plan is designed to assist church leaders in their recruiting of volunteers and, to the greatest extent possible, provide for the safety of the children served by these volunteers.

All children’s ministry personnel are required to take Plan to Protect training every year.

This training will cover: recruitment, classroom staffing, washroom guidelines, health and safety guidelines, emergencies, proper displays of affection, reporting procedures, and more.

The trainer, Matthew Gunn, has been officially trained by Winning Kids Inc.
