Kindergarten Ministry Responsibility Outline

Responsibilities of Service
1. Pre-teach
J Pick up materials from classroom after service one week prior to teaching
J Prepare the materials in advance
J Spend quiet time praying and reading the Bible passage that you are teaching.
J Pray for your children individually by name
2. Preparations (on Sunday)
J Arrive 15minutes before 10:30 to have everything prepared.
J Gather materials from the storage, and fellowship hall(if needed)
J Ensure the room is tidy and safe for children to play.
3. When the kindergartens arrive at 10:30am
J Greet the parent and toddler.
J Supervise the child(ren) as they play/interact. Try to engage them in activities available in the room.
J Share and talk with the children to build up the relationship
J Ensure safety and comfort of children.
J Supervise hand washing before snack
J After snack make sure all food remains and cups are thrown out
J Tidy the room and put back all materials before leaving
4. Schedule
J There are 3 months in each semester. (First term is Sept, Oct, Nov.)
J Time table will be schedule every semester.
J You will be paired up with another teacher, your responsibility to work out your availability with that teacher
J Please inform the coordinator (Kimberly Pak) in advance if not available so that necessary arrangement can be made.
