Softball
Every summer, teams are formed at Jaffray to participate in the annual CCSA (Chinese Christian Softball Association) church-wide softball competition. Over the course of the summer, over 70 teams from across the GTA play each other in friendly competition. Jaffray has two teams, one junior team (age: 14-19 inclusive as of May 1, 2010) and one senior team (age: 18 and over, as of May 1, 2010) – .COM, and The Awakening, respectively. At the end, top teams in each category face each other in the finals. As well, there is a semi formal softball banquet that ends off the entire season.
Through the softball team, players learn more about each other, work cooperatively, get healthier, and learn about who God is.
There is absolutely no requirement for knowing how to play softball prior to joining the team. So come and join us!
